Nicolai is forced to go to the Philippines after graduating high school, to finish college. She dislike the idea at first but realized that going to the Philippines isn't that bad. She learned to love the place, build her own name, and develop feelings for someone.

On the other hand, Ezra is a cold type of a boy who talks less to strangers and the people he didn't knew. He's one of the heirs to the business of his family. But, he wanted to make a name of his own so he took on separate path from the business world.
