Maybelle is a Princess. For the first sixteen years of her life, she was cooped up in a castle with her loving brother Novel and her controlling parents, the King and Queen of Rifft.
Aquila is the daughter of a respected knight, Corvus Charming. Growing up amongst four older brothers, she learned to be independent and courageous, all without the help of her late mother.
We all grew up on fairytales where the man rescues the princess, but what if, in this fairytale, a woman rescues the princess?
