Stephen Chobsky once said, "We accept the love we think we deserve." This quote never meant much to me, just a simple line in a popular movie every girl posted on their social media. But now, it means so much more. It explains all of the pain, heart ache, tears, and soul changing experiences I have endured. I am not who I was from the beginning of this story. We are human and we are bound to change. And as humans, we crave to love and to be loved. That's why each and every one of us is constantly looking for "the one". But what happens when you can't find that one person who sets your soul on fire? Or maybe you do, but you are too afraid to open up and devote yourself fully? If they are the one for me, why can't I accept the happiness I have found? Aren't they my one true love? Or maybe, your true love isn't that prince or princess from the fairytales your parents read to you as a child. Maybe, just maybe... that person you have been desperately looking for to fall in love endlessly with is yourself.
