Looking for an apartment, with only her waitressing job to pay her bills, she finds herself at a seedy apartment complex in South Boston. Already determined to find something better, she changes her mind when out of the complex door walks a handsome stranger. He's got no shirt and no shoes, just a cigarette hanging from his lips and exudes attitude. Knowing she can't afford better, armed with the knowledge she'll be living across from the attractive stranger, she decides to give the broken down building a chance.
