Valentina Winthrop has been battling depression, anxiety and a list of other things since before she can remember. She's tried getting help in more ways than one but none of them work. So she tried to free herself from the pain entirely by almost killing herself. Her family tries one last time by starting over in a new town.

They're afraid of losing their daughter but maybe Valentina has found a savior at last. In the form of a girl who can show her just why life is worth living.
