Foreword

In the midst of a world health crisis, and Taya's own personal mental health crisis, an armed thief intrudes upon her home. Taya confronts the thief with a butcher's knife, and runs him out of her house.
A Safeway worker named Michael McClare has copious coincidental correlations with the thief. For one, they both talk funny, and two, they both have stunning green eyes.
Taya takes it upon herself to investigate Michael. Is he the thief? As her investigation progresses, she finds herself more and more attracted to the mysterious man.
