Description
A story of love and sacrifice when all odds are against Cattlin and Calix, the two best friends who fall in love with each other when a mysterious Army comes to split women from men. Cattlin must hold deeply onto her feelings for Calix, even when they aren't together, and Calix must fight to have his love back into his caring arms. I sit still and wait for Calix’s response, but instead of him speaking his free hand moves up to my face and caresses it with every touch. I watch as he moves the little hair out of my eyes and behind my ear. “Are you sure?” he asks keeping his hand lightly placed on my cheek. I nod and without another delay feel his lips pressed against mine in a passion that I swear could set the world on fire. It's then though, I realized that I was falling in love with my best friend. The one that has always been there for me and that in a way I have always loved; now it's just more clear. But there is a negative to this kiss, to this falling in love that I had spoken of. What would happen if Calix and I were split apart? Our love would be torn...
