It's the first day of summer and June is getting ready to spend it all by herself. All her friends are either at camp or traveling and June is at home alone. Her Dad is on a business trip and her Mom died when she was three. She thinks she is going to have to be alone at home for the rest of the summer buy then she meets a girl named Poppy. Poppy is going through a hard time and is very mysterious but soon she opens up to June and they become best friends.
