For years, Elene was plagued with her family's curse. It was not until it was taken from her, that she realized what she had been stripped of.

After severing ties with her family, Elene assumes the identity of a mercenary under the alias 'Allan'. During the past five years she has protected traders from across the world at the guild in Marreh, a prosperous port. As summer draws near however, a familiar foe begins to move inland from the mountains in the north, hidden amongst the people in broad daylight.

The friends and bonds she has cultivated are put to the test as strangers, lords and war loom across the continent. Her blood might be her undoing, if the concealed enemy in her home does not strike first.
