Kyouka's parents are abusing her. Mentally and physically. Her parents had always threatened her; so was never able to expose the truth. She was demanded to stay quiet.

Kyouka's classmates didn't pay much attention to her, seeing as she didn't seem friendly.

All hope seemed lost, when her boyfriend Denki Kamanari broke up with her for Ochako Uraraka.

Just as Jiro was losing her way and was thinking of giving up, she meets a girl who changes it all.
