Description
Corpses are gross, dirty and foul-smelling. At times, they're scary to look at. But curiousity enthralls upon something unpleasant. Amidst the ugliness, it satisfies the dark part of our soul-not meant to be human. Something about it is unnatural, and inextricable. Corpses are just a soulless vessel, once visited by life. Wondrous to think, that whenever we glance at a corpse, we're seeing our future destiny-with the bold truth, scary and unpleasant. My corpses are my thoughts, well-kept in my mind. But it stinks, giving off a foul odor. And so, I have to write to filter them all. Corpses are ugly, unpleasant, disturbing and unwanted- and that's how my poetry's supposed to be. What we'd do with the corpse? Bury them alive. (English and Filipino Languages)
