Set in the 1980s, Avery Whitestone is a shy, innocent girl who has a secret passion of becoming a singer. Her entire world is turned upside down when she meets Grayson Dolan, the bad boy bass player in an up and coming rock 'n' roll band called Red Hot. Avery is quickly thrown into his wild world of partying, drugs, and of course... music. Both of their lives unravel as fame and pressure quickly becomes their new normal.
