The civil right movement is at it's peek, the country and economy in a state of disarray following the assassination of President John F Kennedy the mob were running everything from nightclubs to waste management.

Vincent Glass is determined to make a name for himself. As the first Negro to be appointed as a public prosecutor in the city of New York, he feels obligated to leave a legacy for his successors. His first task is to take down the mob to do that he'll have to go after the man who abandoned him at birth
