In the beginning, Mae Maddox leaves behind all her obsession's with the South Korean entertainment industry in America and moves to South Korea to purse her teaching job; teaching high school students the English language. And why not in South Korea, the pay is ten times better than any job in America. Well that is with only two year college degree (An associates degree). On the day she arrives in Inchon Airport she meets an oddly handsome man with blue colored contacts. Later on that same day she runs into him again, but with two other handsome men, and the one with blue painted on the tips of his hair is suspiciously interested in her. Mae doesn't know it at the time, but The men she met on the street are part of a Kpop boy group Monsta X, along with four other members. Tangled up in a messy scandal being seen on the streets with them she is now being asked/paid to fake a relationship with the member known as Wonho. Being in a foreign country by yourself with only a small amount of money who would reject that type of offer. Mae never lost or forgot any of her knowledge she soaked in before she left America. Mae now needs to apply all the knowledge she had learned before about the Kpop industry and a secret she keeps to herself before she left America and now apply it to her new complicated life that is now in the spotlight of the public.
