Scarlett, the youngest Boland girl, couldn't have wine at her wedding. She married a much older man before she could legally drink. She married the money. A rebel at heart with a hankering for a thrill, she was not satisfied. Her life had become painfully boring. She pictured it being fast cars and drunken adventures, but partying didn't pay the bills. As it turns out, banging your boss does. Her life played it's boring, monotonous song until she was caught with her pants down on her twenty-first birthday. After this encounter, her seemingly perfect life crumbled; the pieces falling into a certain crime lord's lap. A/N: This is my first attempt at publishing my ramblings in many years, forgive me if it's a little clunky. I couldn't help but daydream about that stupid throat tattoo, who's with me? Obviously, I don't own anything but Scarlett and the plot. Also, this story will have violence in numerous forms. Some of the depictions are specific, and some might say gross. I am saying this now because I don't roll with the whole trigger warning thing. I am so excited to get my work out there again, and even more excited to get feedback!
