Chapter One

Hinata sits. He is silent. Within his arms is a bundle of smaller orange locks, pulled into twin pigtails. His arms are protective around her, and he knows it's best that she doesn't understand what he's protecting her from.

On the court, Hinata feels free. He can soar through the air, and land on solid ground, but he can't afford it. There's too much at risk.
