Description
Veronica Bruce thinks she's headed to juvenile hall after getting caught hacking into her school board's computer system, but instead she gets a second chance - an opportunity to attend Somerset Military Academy through their new program for at-risk teens with academic promise. Despite her natural skepticism and the challenge of fitting in to the privileged military boarding school environment after growing up in the foster care system, Veronica wants to prove to herself that she can succeed. When she fails her first weigh-in and gets placed on the school's Weight Control Program, she's not sure there's any hope left. But she soon starts to notice strange changes...more than just weight loss...in her fellow program cadets. What's really going on?
