Liz Campbell seems to be a normal young woman who studies at Cambridge University and works at a bookshop on her breaks. And, sometimes, she's an entertainer at kids' parties.
But she usually leaves her flat at night, always carries with her a silver Parker pen, has a black and white cat called Mistoffelees (but nobody knows about it) and gets into a lot of street fights.

Lawrence Chambers is a young business man with a normal life. Well, until some street gang mistakes him for his drug dealer and he gets into some trouble.
