In a small town, Hawkins, Indiana, 1983. Hailey Henderson's little brother's friend goes missing, a classmate goes missing, and she is seeing a man with no face.

Hailey goes out and tries to search for answers, along with her new friends Nancy and Jonathan, but they find something much deeper, and much darker than what she could ever imagine.
