Falon is a monster. He looks like a monster. He feels like a monster. All he wants is to hide and not be seen anymore. He just wants people to stop looking at him.

Julie is lovely. All she wants is to live life to the fullest. She's deserved that. She's fought for that. There's a monster that's taken most of her life from her and she isn't ready to give up.

When Julie becomes interested in Falon, they both learn what it's like to live and love. What it's like to be alive and get through the life that often threatens to hurt them.
