SLOANE The five senses. It's an endowment many people take for granted. When you're born with only four, it's hard to fit in with society's normalities and stereotypes. Even though it may seem like a burden to some. I would like to think of it as a gift. Shortly before my parents passed, they had told me, "Silence isn't always empty, It's full of melodies." My first impression of him was distant and indifferent, but the more I got to know him, I realized some people prefer their songs not heard at all. . . . RUNE I've learned two things so far in my 18 years of living. One, don't get attached to people easily, everyone ends up leaving you out to dry. Two, my father is an absolute ass. I always thought being a hardass was the way to isolate myself from everyone. My father proved to me that I don't need anyone. I didn't get to have the father and son experience, I didn't know how to love. Nobody was able to control me but Sloane Pierre, her silence was more than silent. It was melancholic.
