Prologue

"How is he, Doctor?"
"Well, he's mostly uninjured, but he did take a hit to the head, and has what seems like--"
He was interrupted by a soft groan from the bed. "Wh-where am I?" a voice murmured, just loud enough for us to hear. "Am I in the hospital?" The figure on the bed sat up, wide-eyed. "Who are you?"
The doctor sighed. "Anterograde amnesia. Every day will be a blank slate for him."
