In 1840's Mississippi, a local family struck rich after the death of Lucia Doe Clausmiths grandmother, in which to be honest, she really never knew. Along with this wealth her father precedes to buy acres of cotton farming fields, and along with this comes inslaved African Americans to do their dirty work. But, when she comes along at the slave auction, she instantly falls in love with an untouchable gem. How will it go down?
