Foreword

Being the daughter of two millionaires isn't nearly as perfect as it seems to be. Aria Castillo knows that as much as any other millionaire's daughter does, and she doesn't like it one bit. After all, loneliness isn't exactly the most desirable thing in a relationship, yet it was everywhere around her, something that her parents failed to notice when they were around, which was a rare occurrence on its own.

Axel O' Brian has had anger issues since he was born, but he wasn't diagnosed with IED until he tried to strangle a guy during his senior year in high school in a fit of blind rage, which shocked many students and teachers to the core, because for them, Axel was that bright and intelligent student that couldn't get enough of people congratulating him on his academic skills. A month later, he started cutting himself. What started to be an accidental yet minor scratch on the palm ended up being a dangerous addiction that he kept hidden under full-sleeved tees and unsuspecting sarcasm from prying eyes.

When Aria first meets him, other's judgements about him and his indifferent attitude itself distorts her own, but when she starts working with him, she realizes that he's not as brutal and rude as she assumed him to be, and that the only reason he puts up such a demeanor is to hide the storm that resides within him, a storm that can be only be calmed with the love and care he's been deprived of since the start. That's when Aria decides to take it upon herself to make things right, and it works.

It works brilliantly, but everything has its ups and downs, and Aria realizes that maybe it's not that easy to calm a storm after all, especially one that has been building up since years.
