Prologue

For her, there was only one way out. She could never see herself the way I saw her.

She was beautiful, in all the definitions of the word. I watched her, studied her and admired her like she was the most prized possession the universe could ever hope to get.
Her sad face, her quiet nature, her lone figure, everything about her pulled me in. She wouldn't let me in no matter how much I tried and the more she shut me out the more I found reasons to get close again. This was until the day she made my dreams a beautiful reality and I found out just how damaged she was, that I couldn't save her from drowning in her dark haunted world but still I hope...

That day will come.
