Carefree and naive, she is. Mahogany didn't know the life of struggling and getting by. She was like a sponge, her feelings were frangible and brittle. Eviction is no joke especially to Washington's family, it seemed like some person of influence came through the home with an obsidian knife. The agitation of being removed from her house was like sirens in the nighttime, lots of noises and thoughts that never stopped swirling. Mahogany's anxiety was out the roof, she was determined to get out this horrifying and intimidating situation. She needed to learn how to survive without her brothers' and mother's comfort. Will she survive her depression and the most sudden interruption of her childhood?
