Prologue

Amari Jacobs was ten years old when her mother told her about mates. Her mother told her about the Sparks, the unique smell and how when you meet your mates eyes for the first time, the world stops. Ever since she has fantasized about her future mate. So when her mom dies from a car crash and her dad goes missing, all Amari has left is that hope for her mate. But fate has other plans. Follow Amari as she becomes The Battered Luna.

So this is my first story. I hope you guys like it and don't hesitate to give me feedback on what I can fix to make it better. I tried to take a" normal rejected mate and replaced with another" story plot but add my own spin on it.
