What happens when your leader is mysteriously assassinated, and there is no trace left behind except for some black fur? Would you blame the other Clans for it? Would you attack the other Clans? What happens when three warriors from another Clan disappears, only to turn up dead the next day? Would it stir unrest within your Clan? Would you feel afraid of the forest, of the dangers that may lurk within? RavenClan had always been strong and swift, especially under Nightstar's rule. Then one day, the deputy walks into the leader's den and is shocked to find Nightstar's body coated in blood. How could no one have heard the attacker? No one knew who the murderer could be. The medicine cat found a small tuft of black fur between Nightstar's claws. The assassin must have been careless. But is it of any use? The Clan begins to suspect all the black cats. But Nightstar was a powerful and caring leader. He never hurt or angered anyone, and the Clan was satisfied under is rule. It seemed unlikely that anyone would kill their leader just because of... greed? They turned to suspect the other Clans. RavenClan was in constant battles with FalconClan, competing for territory. They decided to attack FalconClan because they had the most reason to kill Nightstar. The start of a war... ... that never seemed to end.
