Kaila moves back home to California from college after being gone 3 years. While adjusting to being back home, Kaila reconnects with some of her closest friends from Chino Hills High School. Her most important reconnection will be with LiAngelo Ball. The two were what some would call close during high school but when it was time for college they lost all contact. With Kaila back and seeing Gelo again old feelings will evoke, but with Gelo having Jaden in his corner will these feelings be for better or for worse...
