Morning in the Cafe

This is a work in progress but I want to see what you all think about the first chapter.

The book is about a girl that stumbles upon a man in a café. She is very shy but yet extraverted. She comping mechanism is humour.
The man on the other hand is friendly yet dark. He likes to play around and pushes Riley out of the shadows and books. He helps her to see the world for what it is and what her world could be with him in it.
