And he lust for that feeling again. After failing that mission, he felt an empty pit, ripping all happy moments away from him, and he blamed it all on one person. The person that stopped him, the person who made him feel the feeling he hates the most. Guilt. - Edd, was first to realize how barren the streets were. It got to the point where he forced himself to watch the news, for hopes to know what was going on. After debating what he should do, he told the others and came up with a plan.
