Chapter 1 - Derrick

Prequel to Bondage.

Derrick, the son of a farmer, isn't satisfied with his lowly life and seeks adventure at the capital. On the way he meets a girl who has been thrown from her horse and he takes her back to the castle. He soon learns that he has rescued the Princess and his reward is an opportunity to become a knight - an unlikely fate for any farmer. He jumps at the chance, but once offered a title, will he long for more?
