Steven Universe moves into the normal town of Beach City with his mothers Garnet and Pearl, his sister Amethyst, and his cousins Ruby and Sapphire. He finds a strange monster in the coastal area, but learns she is an innocent girl with a horrible backstory.

Sardonyx, through some trial and error, learns that no matter what you are, you're perfect.
