Description
Seth Marxx is a rookie police officer. Doing well for himself, getting along with his life after his own childhood hardships, he is proud to serve the way he is. Kiora Lucien used to be warm and caring, a beautiful soul that could only be described as angelic. But fate it seems, had different plans for the two. When the fates decide to bring them together, its not very nicely. Kiora has been raped and beaten among other brutalities and he's the only one who can help. At first, she's nothing but an assignment to Seth, but as he delves deeper into her case, nothing is as it seems and there are forces beyond human control at work. Kiora will have to learn to trust and Seth will need to learn to care for others in order to be able to work together to understand what's trying to destroy not only Kiora, but a whole race of human beings.
