Prologue (Edited)

Journey and Leo used to be best friends. Despite the fact that Leo was two years older than her. Leo was was her protector when Journey's step-father felt like using her to satisfy his own needs.  He was always there for her when she needed him. Then Leo graduated and left for college. Journey was left to fend for herself against her step-father. 

Four years later the two former best friends reunite through a mutual friend. Both have grown and changed as individuals. Can Leo and Journey get back the friendship they once had?
