Gadane

The horror in her eyes.
The thumping of her heart.
And the urge to tear her apart like a prey.

My blood was no longer warm but ice cold.

Frozen in time, as if my every intent to keep her safe was no longer existing.

I was stuck, craving her and wanting her body to feast upon.

My teeth now showing and ready to attack as I whiff in a scent.

I stop.

The sweet scent of hers, I no longer care to suffice my hunger but to protect her.

"You're mine now," I growl inaudibly as she closes her eyes and loses consciousness.
