Chapter 1 - Prey

Rosaline Chevalier is the seventeen year old daughter of the devil. Along with her five brothers and one sister, they are charged with finding souls for their father to fill the pits of Hell. Rosaline has always been Daddy's favorite and worked hard to keep things the way she likes it. However, the time has come and Lucifer is getting restless. He once again wants to try to conquer Heaven and Rosaline is his first pick to represent his interests. Throughout her time working for her father, Rosaline has felt the ends haven't always justified the means and she's looking to get out. Does she turn away from the power and immortality that becoming a horseman would bring, or does she walk away to another, choosing love instead?
