akari mizuku is a young male, who, like many others, is a slayer of demons. he's one of the pillars, however, his identity and his role is kept a secret from everyone except the people working under the master for the safety of himself and his friends. he travels freely on his own will but does what he is ordered to when it comes to it.

one day when he was on his way back from his mission, he meets tanjiro kamado-- one of the new demon slayers, and ends up taking interest in him after hearing his story. he decides to travel with the aforementioned male, not knowing of the even more adventure and action that waits for him along the way.
