Prologue

Y/N L/N was just your average student at Kuoh Academy. One of the few non-perverts, he just lived his life one day at a time. That was until he begins seeing things that don't make sense, words over peoples' heads, telling him how much longer they had to live. Y/N was the inheritor of a Sacred Gear, one created by the Archangel of Death, Azrael.

When faced with the reality of the supernatural world, he must find a way to stay safe, and protect those close to him. But can he do that as a human? Does the benefits of changing outweigh the drawbacks? He should be careful, those that gaze into the Abyss, have the Abyss gaze back into them.
