[Gender Neutral Reader] How truly strange it is that delicate and beautiful feathers might carry together the weight of a creature so strange and new, that they might find their ways to a sunrise. That they might taste the clouds and feel the glow of early morning. Yet despite the greatness of such a feat, that the hands that made them might strike them down. In their cruelty they would try to snuff the freedom they had imbued their creation. A creature made to soar, chained with metal and string and horrible lies. And blinded they are by their need for those feathers clipped to open palms, their lust for more of whatever they sought. Of money and glory and fame and power. But ignorance and cruelty are a breeding ground for quick hands grabbing for their next big break. And all it takes is one quick hand, one empty threat, to set broken wings aflame.
