Aaliyah Jackson is an 18-year old freshman at Howard University whose only focus is on passing her classes, making money, and having her life under control. Malachi West is a 19-year old sophomore struggling with Calculus and family issues. Through mutual friends, they meet and Aaliyah's only goal is to help Malachi, not befriend.
