Ava was a native girl who ran into the wrong guy. She lived with her friend, and that started it all. Ava is about to run into the king of Italy. He is a monster who wants his queen and will do anything to have her.

"Let me go," I said as I backed up against the wall.

"You are mine," he growled.

"I belong to no one," I said, making his eyes darken as his jaw clenched.

"I swear if you keep saying that I will show you who you belong to, babe," he said darkly.

"You wouldn't."

"Try me," he said darkly as he pushed his body into mine. What did I get myself into?
