Prologue

Niall and Liam were best friends in high school, practically joined at the hip since they were infants. Niall had a secret crush on Liam but he always hid it, he didn't want to jeopardise his friendship. He never minded though as long as he was able to spend his days with Liam. That was, until Liam broke the worst news possible to Niall. He was moving to attend college, the college he'd been dreaming of getting accepted into his whole time in high school. Niall couldn't watch him leave and did the only thing he could think of to get Liam to stay. He tells him how he feels. It didn't change Liam's mind. 5 years later, they meet again in one of the most unexpected ways possible but Niall has a daughter now and he'd only just moved on.
