David, a 54 year old college professor, is still in shock about his wife's death when his son gets sick. In fear of his alcoholism coming back into play, he chooses to ignore his sons sickness. While working and dealing with the bills of his now dying son, he slowly waste away.

She ends up alone in her mansion not knowing what to do with herself. She slowly realized that she's spent her entire life alone, and gets to work on a new project that will change her entire life.
