Part 1: Ice Cream in January

Eight-year-old Nancy Drew is at home with her mother when what first appears to be a random break-in goes horribly wrong. With the help of Cub Scout Ned, surprisingly-good-code-breaker Bess, Oliver-Twist-impersonator George, and amateur detectives Frank and Joe, Nancy traces the events leading up to her mother's death and maybe, just maybe, can bring another family peace after their own loss.
