Arxiphos is stuck. The high priest of the Oxbow village must marry the Hegemon's daughter, yet he has begun to fall in love with another, one who is much more powerful, even divine. Does he have what it takes to reject the pressures of culture and embrace a life of mystical union with the nymph?
