Description
Two girls, two Soul Animals, and one magical, mysterious world. Christi and Sabrina have been best friends forever. Christi - the quiet, serious introvert. Sabrina - the loud, goofy, upbeat jokester. Everything Christi isn't. So when Sabrina goes missing and Christi is left to find her, to Christi it seems the roles should be switched. Instead, she finds herself pulled into a world of magic in hopes of saving her best friend and becoming someone that matters. ✶✶✶ Excerpt: I touch the sandy bottom with my hand, and turn around to resurface, but as I push off the ground, something tugs at my ankle. Panic rockets through me, but I quickly remind myself that it's probably seaweed or something. I continue to swim to the surface, but the tug keeps trying to bring me back down. Suddenly, fear closes up my throat, and my already struggling lungs seem to collapse in terror. I can see above the surface, see Christi's vibrant purple swimsuit― Then, darkness.
