Prologue

My name is Alyssa Van Helsing, the great great granddaughter of Abraham Van Helsing. I am a Detective in Cincinnati by day and vampire hunter by night. As I make my rounds one night I run into a vampire whom I never expected to meet. Since meeting him he is all I think about, he has taken control of me. I know his true identity and I know what I must do...but can I do it?
