Alexander Lowell was living an ordinary life in Richmond, Virginia. One night a tragic incident revealed a terrible family secret that Alexander has to bear that makes him move to Mystic Falls to attend a boarding school for people like him, Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted. There Alexander meets an array of people that makes his life a little less intolerable, one girl, in particular, will make him see his life and the world around him a little bit differently.
