Description
Crystal "Krissy" Tangry is unlike any other girl you've ever met. Her parents resent her behavior because she's always up hours after the sun is, goes outside in the sun, and refuses to consume the substance that flows through your veins. She sounds ordinary, but looks can be deceiving. The reason why her parents aren't particularly fond of her is because the way she acts is not how a proper vampire should act. Yes, you heard right. A vampire is what she is. And her vampire parents chose to not tolerate it any longer and sent the sixteen-year old off to an estranged aunt's house in California, cutting all contact with her. She is also enrolled in a high school full of mortals. It seems like a piece of cake since she practically acts like one. It even seems natural for her to be among them. But the people she encounters are a handful and make rocket science seem simpler. Plus, high school is a time of emotions, discoveries, and a lot a bit of torture. Will she survive her junior year?
